How do we create a good GENESIS experience? Here are a few tips you may find helpful.
Clear Communication
Communicate content, purpose, time of event, duration, translation, connection information and special needs.
Pray
In evertything we do, prayer is vital to see God's purposes accomplished. Prayer is also a way to secure quality and execution.
Confirm time
Making the effort to confirm the link time is very useful and will help secure correct meeting time for everyone participating. Worldtimeserver.com and TimeAndDate.com are helpful sites.
Include GENESIS Coordinator
This secures a good setup, help with tests, avoids scheduling conflicts and helps you focus on content.
Room Set up
Whether one person or a group of 200, room preparation is important. Including a good background often helps greatly.
Eye contact
Placing your camera close to where your eyes look will help the remote audience connect with you.
Test link
Make sure connectivity, audio, video, lighting, presentations and camera presets are tested ahead of time. If you are using a computer, a headset with a microphone is recommended for good sound.
Background communication
A chat room or mobile communication helps facilitate the flow of the content.
Feedback
Sending a quick message with feedback on what went well and what can be learnt is always appreciated.
